Partner of Charles Alker, probably until 1879 (Chotteau's father was born in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux [Nord, F] as was Alker). In the partnership agreement establishing the firm of Alker & Chotteau, signed on 26.6.1875, Chotteau was described as a clerk at the National Bank. Founder member of the ABP. Left for an unspecified destination in March 1880.
