Antoine Gilles Edouard, ° 26.8.1847. Engineer. Member of the "Photo-Club de Belgique", then honorary member from 7.11.1900. Journeyed to Siberia and stayed in China during the Boxer rebellion. He brought back with him a large number of photographs which he then exhibited as a slide show for charity on a 100 square metre screen under the auspices of the "Photo-Club de Belgique" on 15.1.1901. Several of these photographs were published in the "Bulletin du Photo-Club de Belgique" in 1900-1901. Was residing in Tientsin (Tianjin) [China] in 1915.
