Camera maker, headquartered in Paris [F], Rue Duret, 30. The firm was established in August 1900 to commercialise in particular a hand camera "Jumelle Perfecta". "Manufacturer disposing at wholesale prices of 500 cameras from 130 to 250 francs. Free catalogue" (Le Soir, 1.5.1901). The Brussels branch must have been short-lived, since the firm went into liquidation in September 1901. Contrault continued to trade in some form until the firm was dissolved and sold off in 1903.
