Antoine Joseph Jérôme Benjamin, ° 30.9.1875. Operator at Ohlenmacher’s studio. On the occasion of his wedding in Brussels on 18.7.1903, he was already recorded as a photographer resident at Rue Antoine Dansaert, 63.

Photographer and photoengraver. Photographs of Seneffe castle, c. 1911. Vice-president of the "Union des Photographes Professionnels de Belgique", 1913. In June 1919, Couprie advertised that he had returned from the army and had reopened his studio at Rue Jean Stas, 16 (Le Soir, 20.6.1919). In March 1920, he announced that he had moved his studio to Avenue Louise, 32 (Le Soir, 6.3.1920) where he was listed until 1924. Couprie then moved to Avenue Louise, 28 where he operated for the rest of the interwar era.
