° 2.11.1863; + 15.6.1940. Also sold watches and jewelry. In 1890, "Veuve De Lille & enfants" = Victor's mother, Marie Theresia Van den Bossche (+ Maldegem, 18.11.1901, aged 81), and his siblings. Considered the first photographer in Maldeghem. Victor was appointed a local tax collector in 1887. He founded a weekly newspaper "'t Getrouwe Maldeghem" on 29.7.1888. He went on to have a career as journalist, publisher and politician. "The offices of [this newspaper] as well as the watchmakers and jewellers Widow De Lille & Children are at present transferred from Eedestraat, 37 to Noordstraat, 10 in Maldeghem" ('t Getrouwe Maldeghem, 13.4.1890).
