Georges Ferdinand Henri Hippolyte, ° 15.5.1845; + 15.11.1894. When members of the "Société d'Archéologie de Bruxelles" visited Gaasbeek castle on 17.5.1888, de Looz-Corswarem photographed the group and the castle and donated those photographs to the club, along with two views of tumuli in the Soignes forest. Contemporary sources indicate that he was one of the more respected and prolific photographers of the group. In 1896, Armand de Behault de Dornon posthumously donated 14 negatives made by de Looz-Corswarem to the collection of the "Société d'Archéologie de Bruxelles".
