Albertus Jacobus Mathildis Eduardus, ° 2.3.1877. President of the "Cercle des Ambulanciers d'Anvers". Member of the photographic section of the "Cercle artistique, littéraire et scientifique d'Anvers" by 1908, and it is quite possible that he had joined this section several years earlier, following the death of his father Edouard De Meyer (see that name) in 1904. Member of the “Cercle d’études photographiques et scientifiques d’Anvers” in 1913-1914. In July 1913, he gave a lecture for CEPSA members about his trip to the war-torn Balkans, accompanied by slide projections. Still a member of CREPSA in 1922.
