Armand Edmond Marie, ° 11.10.1849; + 4.12.1933. Also lived in Liège. Patent of 31.3.1888 for "a camera shutter producing photographs with a short or long exposure or instantaneously" (invented in 1887 jointly with his brother Adolphe). Patent of 15.3.1890 for "a camera shutter producing photographs with a short or long exposure or instantaneously". Armand invented a snapshot camera for 6.5 x 9 cm plates in 1889 (shown by Adolphe to the ABP). Brother-in-law of Edouard Whetnall (see that name) and joint owner with him of the family château. Still a member of the ABP in 1922.
