° 26.7.1877. Engineer-optician. Photographic supplies. Sometimes "De Roos A. & D." ie, collaboration with his father Abraham (° Oirschot [NL], 27.8.1836). Edited the periodical "Licht!", 1902-1903, the first Belgian photographic magazine published in Dutch. Co-author, with S. Hereyns and others, of "Licht: Bespekingen over Fotografie en aanverwante Wetenschappen" and its French edition "Vade-Mecum de Photographie", Brussels, 1905, based on articles published in the magazine.
