Marcel Jacques Joseph, ° 1.9.1873; + 15.6.1960. Doctor in physical and mathematical sciences. Laboratory assistant at the University of Liège and astronomer at the observatory in Cointe. Photographed the full solar eclipse on 30.8.1905 in Sfax [TUN], as a member of the official French mission led by Guillaume Bigourdan. Autochromist from at least October 1907. Still a member of the ABP in 1922.
