Léon Adolphe, ° 19.4.1881; + 29.3.1975. Doctoral student in chemistry at the University of Liège. President of the "Cercle photographique universitaire".
1908 - 1914 > Bruxelles - Saint-Gilles
Assistant at the University of Ghent and then, from 1912, at the "Institut Pasteur de Brabant". Autochromist, his output was documented from 1907 to 1912, much of it featuring the countryside and genre studies taken at Chooz, near Givet in the French Ardennes. Delange's autochromes were exhibited at the ABP's 24th annual slide show in Liège in March 1912. Still a member of the ABP in 1922. A renowned bacteriologist, he was president of the "Laboratoire international de Chimie et de Bactériologie" in the 1930s. The "Musée de la Photographie" in Charleroi houses about 70 autochromes, glass negatives dating from 1902 to 1929, as well a notebook used by Delange from 1909 to 1912.
