"One of Monsieur Delarocca's hats is simultaneously a portrait. You pay for the hat and receive a portrait [...] at no extra cost. The purchaser's photographed portrait is immediately placed in his headwear surrounded by a handsome medallion frame" (Le Courrier de l'Escaut, 6.5.1855).
