Charles Godefroid Félix François, ° 1.1.1867; + 19.8.1932. Senior administrator in the Belgian Congo. Delhaise distilled his experience of tropical photography, gained from a residence of several years in Central Africa, in an article "La Photographie dans les pays chauds", Revue Internationale de Photographie, 30.11.1908, pp. 209-222. The article was illustrated with his own photographs. Delhaise donated 525 negatives of the Congo and 60 of Algeria and Tunisia to the "Institut international de photographie". By 1912 Delhaise was a provincial governor and Head of Zone at Stanley Falls.
