Arrived at this address on 12.3.1857. Could be said to have introduced the CV into Belgium: "New year gifts. Portraits on visiting cards at 9 francs for 12" (L'Echo de Bruxelles, 22.12.1857). Good quality enlargements. Patent of 15.6.1861 for "a photographic camera" [fitted with a removable plate holder divided into several frames permitting multiple exposure]. Member of the ABP from 14.9.1875.
