Palmer Augustin, ° 7.6.1840; + 7.8.1884. Photographer and goldsmith <65-66 no street>. Last in a line of goldsmiths. This was his family house. May have been a photographer from the early 1860s. Member of the ABP from 10.11.1874. Manufactured gelatine bromide plates in the 1880s. From 1885 on, the firm he founded, and which was probably already being managed by his brother-in-law Edward Vandeleene, produced half of Van Monckhoven’s gelatine bromide plates (De Lanier was responsible for the other half).
