° 23.3.1858; + 23.8.1914. Person of independent means and sometime owner of a tobacco factory. A committed photographer, he installed a laboratory in his house in rue du Pont. He was killed and his house destroyed in the bombardment of Namur at the outbreak of World War I. A metal case containing 60 plates of Namur and its region was pulled from the ruins. Albums stored in his country house in Salzinnes have also been preserved.
