Fernand Rémi Félix, ° 18.6.1876; + 17.2.1950. Already recorded as a painter-photographer living in Celles-lez-Tournai in 1900 and again as a photographer domiciled in Celles-lez-Tournai at the occasion of his wedding to Eugénie Fidéline Florine Marie Joseph Huleux (° Pecq, 23.10.1881) in Pottes on 28.11.1902. "Speciality for groups: clubs, weddings, schools, etc. Views of establishments for picture postcards and prospectuses for boarding schools" (Le Courrier de L'Escaut, 5.4.1907). Also edited picture postcards. Temporarily exploited the back catalogue of Victor Van de Cruys' studio in Tournai: "The firm possesses all the negatives by Colbert and Van de Cruys, previously Rue Royale, Tournai" (Le Courrier de l'Escaut, 30.3.1911). Deweer ceded these negatives in turn to Alfred Carlier. By May 1919, Etienne Habant - Hotton (° Celles-lez-Tournai, 26.9.1884; + Ostend, 21.2.1949) was advertising as Deweer's successor in Celles.
