The establishment was owned by engineer Friedrich Wilhelm / Frédéric Guillaume Düll (° Zürich [CH], 20.1.1847), who was also the self-proclaimed inventor of the device. Arrived in Antwerp on 4.12.1888 and was recorded as the director of the "Swiss Diorama" in his foreigner's file dated 4.1.1889. It was most likely Düll who advertised with his "Zwitschersche Diorama" at Mechelschen Steenweg 29 in January 1889 (Het Handelsblad, 12.1.1889) and at Huidevettersstraat, 49 in March 1889 (Het Handelsblad, 28.3.1889). Düll subsequently advertised at Mechelschen Steenweg, 33 with his "Diorama Dull" in June 1889 when showing views of the Universal Exhibition in Paris.

A diorama was placed in the grounds of the Katholieke Kring, where it would be made available to members of the club from 18.2.1890 until 3.3.1890 (Het Handelsblad, 15.2.1890). It ended up staying there until 6.4.1890 (Het Handelsblad, 2.4.1890).

Düll was due to appear at a convention organised by the Cercle Artistique on 22.2.1890, where he would install a diorama in the board room. The diorama was available there for the members of the club from 22.2.1890 until 15.3.1890. "Views are changed every four days" (Het Handelsblad, 21.2.1890).
