Polydorus Florentinus Ludovicus, ° 22.7.1852. Originally a police officer, Dommekragt resided in Paris from 17.4.1887 until his return to Ghent on 7.3.1903. Recorded as a servant, he lived at this address from 19.1.1904 until 30.12.1909. Dates of activity as a photographer may be inferred from the directory entry for P. Haerens (see entry), his wife's family name. Still listed ("P. Dommekracht") as a photographer here in Leuchs' "Adressbuch aller Länder der Erde" in 1911. Thereafter Dommekragt was recorded as a servant living at successive addresses in Ghent until he moved his residence to Brussels with his wife on 4.1.1919.
