Recorded as a draughtsman and engraver on wood resident in Brussels - Saint-Josse at the occasion of his wedding in Brussels - Schaerbeek on 17.2.1892. On letterhead dated 1902, "Speciality of industrial catalogues of all kinds. Wood engravings, photogravure, simili-zinc, electrotype blocks, industrial photography, collotype". Also listed under "photographers" at this address in the directories, 1907-1908.

Blocks and photoengraving. "& Cie" at this address. Initially factory and workshop while the offices remained at Rue de Cologne, 64 in 1908. Not recorded in the directories, 1910-1912, but listed in "Office du Travail. Industries connexes à la typographie", Brussels, 1911, vol. 1, p. 92, as supplying blocks for illustrations. An advertisement states: "Firm founded in 1869". Remained active at no. 9 until 1920, then at no. 14 in 1921 but no longer listed in 1923.
