Manufacturer of quality papers, including for photography and postcards. Firm founded on 6.5.1909 by Henri Jules Antoine Duesberg (° Verviers, 15.1.1866; + Lambermont, June 1915), husband of Angelina Louisa Huberta Maria Swagemakers (° Tilburg [NL], 10.11.1865). Henri Duesberg was an industrialist in the field of textiles living in Lambermont who received an award of 1500 francs for his entrepreneurship in setting up a paper factory in an area previously reputed mainly for its textiles. "During this summer, Duesberg - Swagemakers & Co. will set up a new paper factory in Malmedy with all modern facilities for the manufacture of fine and photographic paper" (L'Indépendence Belge, 25.3.1910). The firm was dissolved on 30.8.1912 to be immediately succeeded by a limited company "Les Papeteries d'Ensival et de Malmédy".
