Activity

1870 * - 1873 / Bruxelles, Rue d'Assaut, 4
Predecessor: Brachmann & Fils # Successor: Nestler Wilhelm #
Anathase Jacques, ° 25.8.1830. Arrived at this address from Lille [F] on 18.9.1870. Husband of Adela Herbaux (° Valenciennes [F], 4.5.1842). Dulluard later claimed to have been an operator for Disderi in Paris but seems to have run studios in Northern France for most of the 1860s. CVs signed "Dulluard - Herbeaux" [sic], in Valenciennes [F], Rue de Paris, 54 in 1862 ca; his daughter was born in this town in 1861. CVs bear the credit "F. Dulluard / painter and photographer" in Lille [F], Rue Esquermoise, 9 in 1866 ca. Voignier also records him as active at this address in the second half of the 1860s; his son was born in Lille in 1867. Then in 1870, just prior to moving to Brussels, Dulluard - Herbeaux was listed in Tourcoing [F], Rue Notre Dame dite du Bocquet, 22. There is no clear explanation for the initial "F." employed in Lille and later in Antwerp.
1873 * - 1879 / Bruxelles, Place Sainte Gudule, 3
Predecessor: Girault B.-H. Successor: Libau Alphonse
At this address from 18.4.1873 until 26.5.1879. Early CVs at this address read "A. Dulluard / ex-operator for the Disderi firm of Paris". He was then domiciled at Rue de l'Empereur, 13, but was no longer registered there in 1880. Left for Antwerp on 22.11.1881.
1881 * - 1890 / Anvers, Rue des Tanneurs, 35(5) à la Philotaxe
Successor: Moeller - Van Harneveld(t) Fritz #
Adela Herbaux arrived from Brussels at this address in May 1879 when she was recorded as a photographer. Dulluard only registered here on 23.12.1881 when he was recorded as a draughtsman arriving from Brussels. CVs with facsimile signature "F. Dulluard".
1890 * - 1894 Anvers, Rue de la Santé, 5
Arrived at this address from Rue des Tanneurs on 12.6.1890.
1894 - 1895 Anvers, Canal au Sucre, 25
Predecessor: Jacobs Jules & C° Successor: Dulluard - Sartini Paul
In the 1895 directory, "Dulluard - Sartini". This is his son Paul (see separate entry), like his father domiciled at this address. Since both father and son were living under the same roof, it is difficult to ascertain the exact date of succession. There was still a listing at this address in the 1902 directory under "Dulluard, A."
