Commissioner, shipping agent and customs agent. Corresponded with Désiré Van Monckhoven from January 1857. He also had contact with Joseph Maes and Victor Selb. His considerable output included an interesting series of stereoscopic views on glass, 1893-1895 ca, as well as snapshots of street scenes in Namur. Invented a printing frame for stereos, exhibited in 1893. In 1892, president of the "Société photographique de Sambre et Meuse", of which he was one of the main instigators. First president of the Namur section of the ABP from 2.1.1893 until May 1894.
