Christophe Louis Maximilien Joseph, ° 8.8.1864. Engineer and former army officer. Patent of 24.8.1895 and patent relating to improvements of 2.9.1895 for "clips for use in photographic printing"; patent of 26.11.1895 for "a novel portable darkroom for the use of photographers, known as anti-lux". Member of the "Cercle Photographique d'Ixelles". He was recorded as a retired officer in the 5th light horse regiment when he arrived in Antwerp from Brussels - Ixelles on 1.2.1888. Married in Antwerp in 1890. In 1902, his wife stated that Fischbacher, domiciled in Brussels - Etterbeek, was "wealthy and continually travelling abroad for his pleasure". They divorced in 1905.
