Armand Léon, ° 10.8.1854; + 8.7.1935. Chief engineer of Belgian State Railways and professor at Ghent university. Father of Léon Flamache (see that name). Vice-president of the "Société Belge d'Astronomie". During a session of the "Société Belge d'Astronomie" on 28.11.1906, Flameche described a camera he designed and had constructed especially for cloud photography.
