Meetings, "every Thursday, with demonstrations", at this address - the Café Léopold on the premises of Mr Aug. Peeters - Gorissen. In May 1910, president: Edmond Matthieu; vice-president: Goossens; secretary: Constant Deckers; treasurer: August Peeters; in charge of equipment: Frans Verbeelen; rapporteur: L. Lahou. In 1911-1912, presidents: Edmond Matthieu and Léon De Muyser; secretaries: Josef Emiel Borrenbergen and Constant Deckers; treasurer: Peeters; auditor: Frans Verbeelen. Membership, according to reconstituted files: 1910: 29; 1911: 38; 1912: 57; 1913: 65.
Organised a competition of photography inspired by the works of Henri Conscience, the results of which were displayed in Borgerhout town hall in August 1912. The club's 6th public exhibition opened at the same venue on 2.9.1914. Remarkably, given wartime restrictions on photography imposed by the German occupiers, the club held a couple of public exhibitions, including one of some sixty prints, "Farms and country views", at this venue in December 1915 - January 1916. This and other similar displays were permitted because they had a charitable purpose - raising funds either for the benefit of victims of the war or to support the family of Belgian prisoners of war. The club continued to operate throughout the 20th century, reaching an apogee of 150 members in 1950.
