Lecturer at the "Université libre de Bruxelles" from 1890, where he illustrated his lectures with photographs. Author of "Résumé d'une conférence sur la microphotographie appliquée à l'histologie, l'anatomie comparée et l'embryologie", Brussels, A. Manceaux, 1887; "Note de technique microscopique", Brussels, A. Manceaux, 1887 (with collotypes from his negatives) reprinted from the "Bulletin de la Société belge de microscopie", session of 27.11.1886. Photomicrographs illustrating his studies on the development of the epiphysis, 1888, and the parietal eye of the epiphysis, 1896.
