° 15.9.1828. Architect. Municipal architect of several towns successively: Verviers in 1855, followed by Namur, 1860-1864 and Tournai, 1864-1867. Professor at the "Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles". Not a member of the ABP, 1887-1905. During this period, he was already spending time in Argentina. His viewbook "Tres meses en el Chapo", containing 26 plates in collotype, was published by Guillermo Kraft (1839 - 1893) in Buenos Aires in 1890.
1906 - 1910 + Buenos Aires [ARG]
Member of the Verviers section of the ABP, 1906-1907. Joined his son in Buenos-Aires, where he founded a section of the ABP with Th. Verbrugghe in November 1907.
