Friend of Egide-François Billotte. He arrived from Paris on 19.6.1878. Registered as a photographer at Place de Brouckère, 34 (probably his private address) until 30.6.1880. "E. Fussen & Cie. No electric light. Ex leading operator of the Dupont firm" (La Meuse, 26.8.1880 and following days). The initial "E." may refer to Egide Fussen (see that name). A first-class collotypist, Ferdinand Fussen supplied the photographs for the "Album commémoratif de l'Exposition nationale, 1830-1880". Brussels, 1881, containing 11 exterior and interior views of the exhibition.

Operator or partner of Egide-François Billotte. We have not found any photographs signed by Fussen at this address, where he lived from 30.6.1880 until 18.12.1886. He is thereafter registered as an office clerk, then left for Antwerp on 11.9.1891.
