Opening announced in December 1867 (Journal de Bruxelles, 10.12.1867). Optics. Spectacle making. Scientific instruments. Photographs. Paper. Chemicals and photographic apparatus. He continued to use invoices in the name of Barboni until 1869. Founder member of the ABP. In the directory of 1878, he is no longer listed under the heading "photographer", but as an "optician" and under "supplies for photographers". "Agent for lenses by the 'Maison Anzoux' in Paris and other suppliers. Agent for collodion by Herzog (Bremen) and for gelatino-silver bromide plates by Darbfontaine in Namur" [Rozez, 1881].
