Mathilde Sophie Thérèse Clémentine Louise de Saint-Clair(e), ° 13.1.1838; + 9.10.1907. Wife of Charles Gétaz (° Geneva [CH], 15.7.1827; + Geneva [CH], 28.1.1904), a trader. Established a partnership agreement with Victor Herickx (see that name) on 5.5.1874 when she was living in Brussels, Rue Ducale, 87. Arrived here on 3.12.1874. Thereafter, partner of Victor Herickx at this address, where she was responsible for retouching negatives as well as the studio's correspondence and bookkeeping. Recorded as a photographer in the 1876 Brussels population register. "Industrial and artistic photography". The partnership was dissolved on 27.3.1876, after which Mathilde Gétaz appears to have continued as a sole trader here. Left this address on 13.7.1878.
