Eugène Félicien Albert, ° 10.8.1846; + 9.9.1925. Doctor of political and administrative science, of law, philosophy and literature. Professor of religious history at the "Université libre de Bruxelles" from 1894 until 1914. Rector of the ULB from 1896 until 1898. Author of the book "Au Pays des Dolomites", Brussels, Weissenbruch, 1878, containing 16 unsigned photographic prints hors-texte.
President of the "Société d'Archéologie de Bruxelles". Donated two of his own negatives of an excursion of the "Société d'Archéologie de Bruxelles" to the group's collection in 1891. Series of Lumière autochromes featuring mountain landscapes and French castles, album of photographs of the castle in which he lived.
