Joannes Franciscus Maria Stanislaus, ° 22.3.1855; + 11.9.1913. Sometimes transcribed "Goubeau". Bailiff. "He was a veteran photographer having practised the collodion process and produced, despite all the difficulties of that far-off period, several admirable pieces" (Bulletin de l'ABP, 1913, p. 398). Founder member of the photographic section of the "Cercle artistique, littéraire et scientifique d'Anvers" and secretary from 1895 until 1899; laboratory commissioner 1904-1908 and still a member in 1911.
