In September 1866 it was reported that "Elisa" Goussot was running a photographic establishment on this street when the Brussels court sentenced her to six months imprisonment and a fine of 100 francs for exhibition or distribution of indecent photographs (Journal de Bruxelles, 15.9.1866). Rocheblanc had recently been convicted of a similar offense. Goussot and Rocheblanc would eventually marry in Cologne [Prussia, D] on 20.2.1868.
