Previously recorded as a shop boy (° Pianello [I], 1839) living in Brussels, Rue Saint-Jean, 59 in the 1856 population register, he then moved to Rue Marché aux Herbes, 86 on 8.7.1859; he must have been an apprentice or operator with Jacques Barboni there. Left Brussels for Huy on 17.2.1860. Clearly related to Charles François Granzella (° Pianello [Lombardy, I], 27.1.1808; + Brussels, 21.3.1871), lithographer and print dealer, who married in Brussels - Molenbeek in 1838 and lived in Brussels, Rue Saint-Jean, 56 from 1858 until his death.
