Member of the ABP by 13.5.1877. The Guyaux brothers exploited a marble quarry in Bouffioulx outside Charleroi and exhibited a black marble mantlepiece at the International Exhibition in Philadelphia in 1876. There were three brothers: Edmond Germain Joseph (° Charleroi, 2.7.1834; + Bouffioulx, 23.1.1882), Gustave Ghislain (° Charleroi, 26.1.1842; + Bouffioulx, 29.8.1917), and Arthur Xavier Ghislain (° Jumet, 27.7.1845; + Bouffioulx, 24.7.1910). The Guyaux brothers' quarry and stone works operated into the early 1900s; on PC, c. 1908, "Belgian and foreign marble, rough-hewn or worked".
