Philippe Joseph, ° 7.4.1877; + 19.9.1944. Arrived here on 7.6.1901. Manager of the Marynen firm and then successor (Het Handelsblad, 11.4.1903). Photographic supplies. At his sister's wedding in Haren on 16.9.1908, Haesaerts was recorded as a photographer aged 31 resident in Antwerp. Second prize winner (no forename) in the professional category of an aeronautical photography competition organised by the "Aero Club d'Anvers", the results of which were displayed in the Hotel Legrelle until 2.2.1910 (Le Matin, 31.1.1910). He left for Rue Leys, 14 on 28.5.1910, but was still recorded in the 1913 Monod directory. Member of the “Cercle d’études photographiques et scientifiques d’Anvers” in 1908 and at least until 1922. Still a member of the ABP in 1922.
