This might possibly refer to his uncle Lambert Joseph Halleux (see that name), who was never recorded at this address. Georges Halleux moved to Berchem with his mother on 29.6.1892, when he was already recorded as a photographer in the Antwerp population register. At his wedding to Martha Maria Mertens (° Charleroi, 8.12.1872) in Antwerp on 30.10.1899, Georges was recorded as a photographer while his bride was of no profession. Georges’ widow continued to operate here in the interwar period.
