° 30.8.1828; + 18.10.1908. Captain. Head of the photographic studio at the war office (Military Cartographic Institute). Colonel in 1897. Patent of 16.6.1879 for "a process for transferring autographs and carbon prints". He published a dozen brochures on technical matters between 1872 and 1882, in particular on copying the map of Belgium and the various photomechanical processes used at the War Department. His most extensive work was a general handbook "La Photographie", Verviers, E. Gilon, 1886. Founder member of the ABP.
