Founder member of the ABP. Lithographer, according to the ABP membership lists. Therefore either Martin (° Brussels, 8.1.1818), a master lithographer who ran a printing works in Brussels, Rue du Boulet, 4 then 9 throughout the 1850s and 1860s, or (less likely) Martin (° Brussels, 20.3.1841), registered as a lithographer and then as a typographer. However, the trade directories record a certain M. Herman, a person of independent means, at the address given in the ABP membership lists, Chaussée de Ninove, 18.
