° 1.2.1865. Natural son of Pierre-Jean Cornelisse(n) (see that name). Before moving to Brussels, he had run studios in his native Rotterdam [NL] and then Tilburg [NL] as well as Montluçon [Allier, F]. Arrived from Montluçon on 25.6.1898. "Ex-operator of leading studios in Paris. Supplier to the Imperial Russian Household". His previous studio in Rotterdam (and his father's residence intermittently from 1873), Weste Wagenstraat, 97 continued to operate under the trade name "A. Héron" until the 1930s. His father joined him here on 2.2.1899. Héron left Brussels to return to Montluçon [F] on 22.11.1901 where he continued to operate for many years. Still listed in the 1903 directory.
