° 4.1.1875; + 13.9.1957. Magistrate at the Court of First Instance in Bruges from 1904 to 1922; thereafter president of the court in Courtrai. Member of the "Cercle photographique de Bruges" (erroneously "Albert") and member of the editorial board of its monthly magazine "Vers L'Art". Commissioner of the club in 1908. Second prize winner (200 francs) at the Gevaert competition organized during the Brussels International Exposition in 1910. Presented a slide show of colour photographs at the Blankenberg casino with three fellow members on 8.8.1911. Reportedly president of the "Cercle photographique de Bruges" in December 1913 ( La Patrie, 23.12.1913) and still listed as a member in 1922. Remained active until the early 1930s. A collection of prints from his period in Bruges, including an album containing 75 portraits, was acquired by the Bruges municipal archives in 2012.
