Recorded as a photographer resident in Metz [Moselle, D then F], Rue des Clercs, 11 at the occasion of his wedding in Metz [Moselle, D then F] on 29.4.1876 and as a photographer resident in Metz, Rue de Paris, 11 at the birth of his son Fritz (see that name) in August 1877. Subsequently recorded as a photographer aged 38 in Arlon in October 1883. In 1900, it was reported that Hühn had been resident at this address for 22 years, which probably means that he was already active here from 1878 onwards. "Honourable mentions from H.M. Leopold II King of the Belgians, and of H.R.H. Prince Albert".
