° 13.8.1846; + 11.9.1916. Arrived on 7.12.1864. Son of Emanuel (see that name). Moved to no. 38 on 6.11.1869; Rue des Tanneurs on 21.3.1870, then numerous moves within Liège between 1870 and 1881. Also at this address: his father Emanuel Huisman (° The Hague [NL], 13.5.1828), photographer active in Den Bosch [NL] from 1862, and his mother Jeannette Fresco (° The Hague [NL], 7.10.1827) who both arrived with Abraham. Emanuel left for Dunkirk [F] on 2.1.1875 (last digit barely legible). No trace of activity has been found of these two photographers in Belgium. Another Abraham Huisman (° The Hague [NL], 17.12.1863) was recorded as a photographer residing in Liège, Rue Sainte-Julienne, 64 in September 1886 and July 1887. He was the son of André Huisman (see that name).
