Theodorus Henricus Joannes, ° 12.6.1860. Tradesman. His inquiry about retouching platinum prints had already been published in "Hélios Illustré" in June 1892, when Jacobs was living in Amsterdam [NL]. Member of the "Cercle d'études photographiques et scientifiques d'Anvers" from October 1896 at the latest and still listed as a member in 1908. Shared 30 x 40 cm photographs taken inside museums in Amsterdam with fellow members of CEPSA in October 1896. He had reportedly won a gold medal for these photographs in the Netherlands (Hélios Illustré, 15.10.1896).
