Henri or Heinrich, ° 13.9.1876. Jaeger had previously been recorded as a photographer in Antwerp until October 1902 and was subsequently recorded as a photographer in Brussels. He finally arrived at this address on 31.10.1905 and almost certainly operated for Albert Lahmer until the latter's demise on 24.2.1909. An autochrome double portrait with his brother exists, 1910. "Maison Lahmer - H. Jaeger" on shop front in 1910. No. 22 in the directories, but no. 24 printed on the front of a studio photograph dated 1912. Treasurer of the "Union des Photographes Professionnels de Gand" in 1912-1913. War correspondent in the German army during World War I. Left for Germany in October 1918; officially expelled as an enemy alien. He returned to Germany to jointly run the family photography studio of J.H. Jäger in Harsewinkel [Westphalia, D], founded in 1884, until his death.
