Paul Dieudonné, ° 23.6.1859; + 18.2.1945. Son of Joseph Jaspar (see that name). Architect, co-disciple of Victor Horta and Paul Hankar, best known for his Art Nouveau houses. Both as an architect and defender of cultural heritage, Jaspar was a committed photographer. He installed a darkroom next to his architectural studio on Boulevard de la Sauvenière and undertook photo-documentation of the architectural heritage of Liège and its region in collaboration with fellow architect Paul Comblen (1869-1955). His photograph collection forms part of the archives of the "Commission royale des Monuments, Sites et Fouilles", Liège, of which Jaspar was a corresponding member from 1920 onwards. Still a member of the ABP in 1922.
