Predecessor: Josz Edouard
"Good assistant operator wanted immediately" (Le Soir, 29.9.1909). The identity of Josz and the use of the name in this partnership remain unclear following the death of Edouard Josz on 12.11.1909. Studio still listed in trade directories as "Ed. Josz" at no. 70 until 1914. Even though the partnership appears to have continued, based on the formula "Josz & Wilcke" on photo mounts, Josz (no initials) advertised in 1913 and alone from Rue de la Chaussée (no street number) for "a printer, wanted immediately" (Le Soir, 29.4.1913). Furthermore, the non-committal title "Maison Josz" had been employed in a similar advertisement the previous year (Le Soir, 21.4.1912).
