Subsequently married Victoire Francis (° Wavre, 11.1.1851) in Wavre on 8.5.1877, and thereafter traded as "Jude - Francis, known as Thauvin". Still operating in Wavre in November 1883 (date on letterpress mount).

Proceeded to the voluntary public sale of the contents of his house, including "photographic apparatus and accessories", on 25.9.1911 (Het Annonceblad van Moll, 16.9.1911).
