Probably Pierre Gustave Kersemans (° Antwerp - Merxem, 2.4.1852; + Antwerp - Merxem, October 1936), recorded as a bookbinder in Antwerp - Merxem at his wedding there on 16.5.1877 and again in the same locality in February 1893 and February 1918. He signed the marriage register "P. Gustaaf Kersemans" and would sign "G. Kersemans" in later years.

G. Kersemans of Merksem was already corresponding with the periodical "Licht" by November 1902. One of his photographs titled "Landweg" was published in this same periodical in January 1903.
